Mitel-recommended headsets for Mitel 6900 series phones

Mitel offers the Mitel 6900 DECT headset compatible with the Mitel 6930 and Mitel 6940 phones used with OfficeSuite UC. It is available to new and existing customers at time of proposal or via the Buy Phones and Accessories page in the WE Connect portal.

But not every customer has a Mitel 6930/40 phone and sometimes users want other features and functions in their headset.

Mitel product management created the document below to guide customers on their purchase of a third-party headset compatible with their 6900 series phone.

These are recommendations from Mitel directly. Customers are advised to buy one unit from a trusted retailer before buying more of the device; just to be sure the features and functions advertised by the headset manufacturer work as expected on your OfficeSuite Mitel 6900 series phone.

For all other headset needs for customers for all other phones including softphones, we recommend the customer purchase from either Poly (formerly Plantronics) or Jabra. Both manufacturers make high-quality, business headsets. Both have excellent compatibility tools on their web sites where a user can specify his or her phone make and model and then determine all of the headsets compatible with their model phone plus any necessary cables, connectors or lifters to make it work.
