How Do I Order and Assign OfficeSuite Softphone (PC and MAC) Licenses to End Users?

To purchase OfficeSuite Softphone licenses to users, please follow the instructions below: 

1. Go to https://myofficesuite.broadviewnet.com/Login.aspx and login to the MyOfficeSuite Portal. 
2. Once logged in, go to Phone System >> OfficeSuite Licenses
3. Once on the OfficeSuite Licenses page in the PC Softphone row, select the Buy button 
4. From the drop down list, select the user you wish to assign a PC Softphone license to. If you do not wish to assign the license at this time, select Unspecified User
5. If you would like to add multiple users, select Add another user  and repeat step four until you have added all of the licenses you wish to purchase. 
6. Once you have finished adding users, select Submit Order. You will receive a confirmation pop up to inform you that the order was successful. You will also receive a confirmation email and any end users will receive a welcome email informing them how to install their licenses. 

If you have licenses that have not been assigned you can follow these steps to assign the licenses to your users: 

1. Go to https://myofficesuite.broadviewnet.com/Login.aspx and login to the MyOfficeSuite Portal. 
2. Once logged in, go to Phone System >> OfficeSuite Licenses
3. Once on the OfficeSuite Licenses page in the PC Softphone row, select the Manage button 
4. On the Manage PC Softphones screen, you can filter by all, unassigned, pending or assigned licenses. Select Unassigned Licenses. 
5. Select the Unassigned drop down list for any of the license key rows on the table and select the user you wish to assign the license key to. Once selected, the license key will be assigned and you will receive a confirmation pop up, as well as a confirmation email.

I think you need to work on this a little more. As you left out several things.
1. The following message that will be displayed when you assign a license.


2.The following message you get if you un-assign a license, when a user leaves/no longer needs it.


3. The fact that you can delete/unbuy a license from the portal. Once you buy you pay for ever.

4. That if you but a new license and/or re-assign a purchased license, you will get:
That the licenses will truly only work once. If you are lucky.

There is a tool that support can run to refresh a stuck license key.  We have had problems with this every time we have to assign one to a new user or a user changes a computer.  It's always good for an hour of phone calls.
