How do I fix an "Account Not Ready" error message on the PC Softphone?

If you have logged into a PC Softphone and are now getting an "Account not Ready" error message, follow these steps:
  1.  Go to Softphone >> Account Settings and double click on the account listed in the pop up screen. 
  2.  From the SIP account screen, check the Call box found in the "Allow this account for:" section and select OK and the bottom of the screen. 
  3. Select OK on the Account Settings screen to close out the pop up menu. 
Your phone should now be fully functional.
